1 out of 5 stars Very poor support   July 28, 2010
Mike
I tried to set this router up to work with a Cradlepoint CTR-350 with it set to work with a router. After hours of trying, I email Trendnet support twice with lame answers both times. So I called support, and guess what, I got a guy that could speak just enough english to maybe order a Pizza. After a while trying to comunicate with him, Yes I hung up. br /Now I`m useing the router as a switch.

Was easy to setup. Reliable so far. Sitting in my hot apartment all day with 2 laptops hooked up. No complaints so far.

4 out of 5 stars BROADBAND ROUTER REVIEW   July 9, 2010

br / For the short period of time I have had the router installed (30 days), it has not failed to keep me connected to the network. For the money, it was well worth the investment. There are many units on the market for lots more $$. I only use the router to keep hackers out of my system. I dont have games or other devices connected to the system. This unit is corded and was easy to install. I prefer a corded router to help cut down on the neighborhood pirates.

3 out of 5 stars Trendnet Router   July 6, 2010

Very simple and easy, but it isn't stable for gaming networks. It hold its connection but lag when attempting to play you tube video while gaming and or music. which i was able to do with my previous router. It works for hooking up my three computer very well, so it is strong and reliable enough to handle computing signals.

I purchased this when I had to replace my old Linksys Cable modem which had a built in 4 port router. I have just enough tecnical skill and experience to get me in trouble when things get complicated, but setting this up was a breeze. I hooked it up to my new Motorola Docsis 3 modem, addressed it via my browser, followed the setup wizard, and everything worked! It's not a gigabit router, but it is still amazing, given its ridiculously cheap price.
