    2 out of 5 stars Not a good investment   August 21, 2010

This cable modem stopped working in just 7 monthes. I bought it in February, 2010. It gave me lots of trouble starting in July- I kept having to unplug it, wait 10 or more seconds, and plug it back in to get it to function. Then in August it stopped working altogether. I replaced it with a Motorola Surfboard cable modem, and now I am good to go. I should've spent the extra $20 for the Motorola in the first place.

4 out of 5 stars Worked as expected with Comcast   July 4, 2010

I was looking for a cable modem to work with my Comcast account.

The product reached me on time (before Comcast pulled the plug on my previous modem that had reached end-of-life) with pretty good packaging.

Product installation was straight forward. Wired the modem using the documentation provided, called up Comcast to register my new MAC address (listed on the modem) and I was up and running. Its been running for nearly a month now with no resets and has been good so far.

Product is so easy to set and got it running right after plugging it in. Dont even have to configure or run any programs for it, it is really plug-n-play device. Realiable and fast.

So far only Cox AZ has dropped the modem because it was causing problems on their network.

1 out of 5 stars Constantly needs to be reset   May 19, 2010

I got this in December. After a couple of months it had to be reset 1-3 times a day to get the internet back up. My cable service specs were excellent. I got a Motorola SB 6120 and immediately no problems now. Internet stays up 24/7. I would avoid this product.
