D-Link Knows Switches March 2, 2010 J. Hicks (Atlanta, GA) I've owned a lot of networking gear in my days. All brands do some things well, and some things not so well. Some brands even fail miserably at certain tasks.

br /D-Link knows switches. They make em' cheap, they make em' efficient, and they make it last.

br /I use this switch in my entertainment center, fed by a Ruckus 7111/7811 beam-forming wireless receiver. It delivers connectivity to my Blu-Ray player, XBox, HTPC, and AppleTV without a hitch.

br /Wouldn't recommend any other brand for an in expensive ethernet switch.
Just as it is advertised February 26, 2010 Larry C. Jones (Fair Oaks TX) No problems, Hooked it up with cat 5 out of each port behind a Linksys firewall. Perfect.
Great performance and affordable! February 10, 2010 Patrick Murray (Athens, GA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Transfer times in my home network have decreased tremendously now that I'm taking advantage of the gigabit connections on my computers. Setup couldn't be easier, looks great, lights indicate 100 or 1000 Mbps connection (very satisfying to see the green instead of amber lights!), very inexpensive considering the quality.

Works Okay February 7, 2010 Daphne (Colorful Colorado) The power saving sometimes slows my ability to get to devices hooked to this switch, but once connected, performance seems good.
Fast and Reliable February 6, 2010 M. Hayes (CO USA) I bought this unit to replace a pair of 4-port switches and gain Gigabit speed on my local network. Being an unmanaged switch, setup is trivial. Performance is awesome and the unit is silent. I'm very pleased with this purchase and would consider D-Link products again.
