Product Description The Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router is really three devices in one box. First, there's the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect both screaming fast Wireless-G (802.11g at 54Mbps) and Wireless-B (802.11b at 11Mbps) devices to the network. There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together. Connect four PCs directly, or attach more hubs and switches to create as big a network as you need. Finally, the router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection.

Cheap not always better September 7, 2010 Michael A. Pacheco (Denver) I thought I would save myself a little money by ordering a Refurbished router rather then a new one. It still came with a 90 limited warranty so I figured there would be minimal risk.
As soon as I set up the router I noticed some "issues". The wireless would only work intermittently and after 2 says stopped working entirely. Shortly after that the whole thing crashed. I spent an hour on the phone with Cisco/Linksys trying to fix it, but even they said it was "bricked".
Even worse, according to their system the router was no longer under warranty, but after a little negotiating they said they would repair and return it if I showed proof of purchase with in the last 90 days. However, they would charge me shipping. I then decided to return to Amazon under their 30 day return policy.
I was very happy with the return process. The shipping was free and Amazon accepted my return, no questions asked. My money, minus the original shipping charge, was returned to me in less than a week.
All in all I was only out $3.60 for shipping (Super Saver) and about 4 hours of my time. I would have much rather paid more for a working product.
Have to reset multiple times a day, slow speed September 1, 2010 Shannon Lukey (East Lansing, MI, US) Not worth the money, must reset the router more than once every day. Not reliable.
The Cheapest August 30, 2010 Joomla Electronics (Chicago, USA) I'm a computer tech and I always use this router for my customers and I have no problems with this router at all, except it has weak range, I mean you can only use it inside home. Other words if you wanna make your nieghbors share your wifi, then you need extended range. But I really recommend this router for those who need it only for home use, playstation and some other devices.
Eh....go somewhere else August 25, 2010 J. Rocket makes internet speed unbearably slow. think twice before buying. ever wonder why so many of them are refurbs?
Difficult setup, good performance August 19, 2010 Thierry Powerful rooter. I spent 3 days in setting it up because of issues with my European laptop (HP). Now it works perfectly!
