Product Description The Linksys Wireless-G Broadband Router is really three devices in one box. First, there's the Wireless Access Point, which lets you connect both screaming fast Wireless-G (802.11g at 54Mbps) and Wireless-B (802.11b at 11Mbps) devices to the network. There's also a built-in 4-port full-duplex 10/100 switch to connect your wired-Ethernet devices together. Connect four PCs directly, or attach more hubs and switches to create as big a network as you need. Finally, the router function ties it all together and lets your whole network share a high-speed cable or DSL Internet connection.

Trash July 27, 2010 Jay I guess the saying always holds true: You always get what you pay for.
br /Refurbished or broken. This product did not work. The same problem that was wrong with it before is what's wrong with it now.
br /Buy new, not refurbished. Forget your budget.
Poor Reception July 27, 2010 J. B. Yunits (San Francisco, CA) The router works fine but the reception is poor. It's the third router we've had in our house and by far gets the worst reception. I'm guessing if it had an external antenna, it'd be better. I don't recommend buying this router unless you will be using it in a single room. The signal does not carry well through walls or floors.
Works Very Well July 12, 2010 One Caribbean I purchased this router recently and I did not know how it would work because this is the first time using this brand router and a refurbished one. Setting up was a breeze it was like 1,2,3 done.

br /Since setting it up, it works very well no complaints, and it came at a good price. I would buy another one like this if I needed one.
fast wireless July 9, 2010 corky10 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I just plugged it in and it worked, it was a challenge to try to get MAC compatible software so that it would be secure from outside users
Works fine for Windows and Linux, but is v1.5 so can't flash firmware. July 9, 2010 W. Taygan (Chugiak, AK, USA) If you need a plain-jane wireless-g router, well you found what you need. If you want to flash a WRT54G router with aftermarket firmware, look elsewhere as this is a v1.5 chipset.
