Great Product...but Less Expensive Offline September 5, 2010 Jax Great product. Very simple to use, and set up is a breeze. Also, if you're looking to add parental controls on one of your computers, this product will give you some control over what sites your children visit. However, I was disappointed to find that amazon had a higher price than my local electronics store (the store is a nationwide retailer). No matter where you get it, it's a great product.
Great Router September 4, 2010 raclpark I am very pleased with this wireless router. If you need a little more than just a basic wireless router, you can't go wrong with the Netgear WNR3500L. It has all the features/options you could need and more. I don't think you could find another wireless router in this price range with all these features that works as well as this one. I didn't use the setup cd, instead opting for the manual setup. I did not have any problems setting up the basic functions or the more advanced features. I really like the DHCP reservations, MAC filtering, QoS features, and the ability to set up a guest network. The wireless coverage is great. Even with the router located on one end of the house I get a good signal all the way to the opposite end of the house and in the basement. It all works great. No complaints here.
Upgraded from a WRT54G .. it's like night and day! August 30, 2010 Joseph Dibella (Palm Coast, FL) I recently upgraded from my old Linksys WRT54G v. 6 router to the Netgear WNR3500L-100NAS and I can't believe the difference. My network feels much more crisp and the configuration options on this router are amazing. I am glad I purchased this router, it is definitely worth the money. I highly suggest this router to anyone who is in the market for a high quality wireless N router. You will not be disappointed.
Fixed BlackBerry Issues August 29, 2010 N. Overbeck (Plainfield, IL USA) I had a Linksys router before this one and had constant connection problems with my Blackberry Bold 9700. Very annoying. When I couldn't figure out or research the issue (nobody online or in customer support knew), I figured it would be cheaper and easier to replace the router than to replace the phone. As it turned out, replacing the router fixed the BlackBerry connection problems. All is well now.
The router itself is fabulous all around. Easy and quick setup. You won't regret buying it.
great router August 28, 2010 W. C. Flanagan This one really fits the bill - able to stream wireless from my media server.
