Surprizingly Superb - No Problems - EZ setup August 31, 2010 Dave Rabinowitz Never really heard of this brand before - Was a little hesitant to try it - Was very surprized at ease of setup and adding on of other equipment to the secure network - Like my Blue Rays which are "N" ready and my laptop. Thought you had to buy the "big boy" brands - NOT!!
perfect August 30, 2010 A. Rosenberg (chicago, IL) using it as an access point and so far so good. very easy to set up and working great.
As Simple or as Complex as You Like August 22, 2010 Mr. M. J. Morley (UK) Firstly, this is a great price. Secondly all the features you need are there. The good thing is, you only need to use the features you require so the setup can be as simple or as complex as you make it. If you want it to work right out of the box with minimal tweaking then it will. If there's something you don't understand and it's not covered by the Quick-Start Guide then you probably don't need to mess with that setting.
I loved my original Buffalo AirStation until it got hit by lightning and this unit has proved a great replacement/upgrade. It works throughout the house and I no longer require a repeater to get total hi-speed coverage.
A Good Buy if You Only Need to Connect a Few Devices August 3, 2010 GC in WA (WA state) This Buffalo router as smaller than I expected, the size of a small paperback book. Pluging it in is fairly simple. The CD setup did not work but I set it up relatively easily in the web browser. Using the 'expert' setup you can control many attributes of the system if you are a big tech person. I could not figure out how to change the name as seen by other devices however. I had difficulty figuring out how to set the password, but I dicovered that the password is printed on the router. The AOSS system is very easy to use, I connected my Wii easily in about 2 minutes with almost no effort on my part.
Good performance, issue with comcast modem July 22, 2010 David Alexander 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have comcast cable internet, and when originally connecting this it would not work with the cable modem, a motorola surfboard. I found online that this was common, and that updating the firmware and changing the DHCP settings to auto detect fixed the problem. I did this and it has worked solidly ever since.
